The following checklists are meant to provide base guidelines for the tools and materials that you may require during an install. This list is divided into left and right columns to show which tools and materials may be necessary for either a temporary installation (left) or a semi-permanent installation (right.) Where the materials are common to both (i.e. miscellaneous useful things), there is only one column of information.

TIP: If using solar panels to power equipment on mountain tops or other windy areas, use several small panels rather than one large one. They are easier to secure and because they have less wind resistance, don't blow away as easily.
