Open Network Craft: PRACTICAL SKILLS for COMMUNITY CONNECTIVITY.

Welcome! Open Network Craft is a series of online manuals dedicated to teaching members of rural and remote communities the practical skills that they need to bring Broadband Internet connectivity to their communities. Broadband Internet can be brought into the most remote or geographically challenging areas, and along with it, the economic development and the equal opportunities for business that it promises.

The Open Network Craft Modules are based upon Gold Trail Open Network Society's (GTONS) experience of networking the area known as "Gold Country" in British Columbia. These modules are premised on the idea that because we were able to network the communities in our area, other communities can make it happen too. Specific technical skill are shown, which when coupled with some resourcefulness and ingenuity, will help you to bring Broadband to your community! Good luck!

GTONS is very grateful to the sponsors of the Open Network Craft Project:
